“Harder to Breathe Around You” is a hard rock song about raw physical attraction and the way desire can overpower reason. It captures that moment when someone’s presence hits so hard that instinct takes over, judgment fades, and thinking straight gets harder.

Fade Before I Arrive started from a night I almost missed. Someone I barely knew invited me to a New Year’s party, and after a car accident just before leaving, I almost stayed home. I went anyway and met the woman of my life. Meeting her made life less simple, but much more real. The song follows the spark, the distance, fear, almost losing each other, and something that nearly faded before it became our story.

I first wrote this song around 17 years ago but never fully finished it. This year, I returned to it and gave it a more mature pop-rock sound. It’s about a strong connection with someone, the kind that feels steady, honest, and keeps pulling you back into each other’s orbit.

For me, Out2Blue means setting out into the unknown. The blue is not a destination, it is the open sea beyond the shore, where certainty gives way to possibility. It is the place where memory, longing, fear, and hope meet, and where finding the courage to take the next step matters more than knowing the outcome. I don't write to provide answers. I write to make sense of the journey, and to create songs that others might find a part of themselves in, too.

Before Out2Blue

Long before Out2Blue, I was writing, arranging, recording, and performing with bands in Slovenia. With Platoniks, Filozofija received radio airplay, Kdo si won a competition and was released by RTV Slovenija, and we performed alongside established regional bands. Those experiences shaped how I make music today, from the first melody to the final arrangement.
